I cried over you
you are the one who can make me happy
but also the one who makes me sad

You used to wipe my tears away
and I would be able to see clearly
but now my vision is shady and I can't see

You used to kiss my fears away
but now I see you kissing another girl
you used to smile at me
but now I am frowning
because you don't look at me

Now I am confused
just like this poem
this poem isn't over
just like I am not over you

Let me be the one
you call when you need a friend
let me be the one
to cry with you when you cry

Let me be the one
to love you always
let me be the one
to make you smile

Let me be the one
that brightens your day
let me be the one
to help you up after you fall

You were always there for me
so let me be there for you

I fell in love
with you
now I am falling apart
over you

I need you
more than ever
you were always
there for me

How come when I need you now
you are no where to be found
I will try no to cry

Try to hide my pain
but I can't hide
that I still love you

You came into my life
with open arms
you held me when
I was scared

I don't know
what I would do
without you

You are a part of me
you believed in me
when I thought no one did

No greater gift
I could have received
when I met you

Before I met you
I never knew what love was
you showed me love

Now after you are gone
I question
was it really love?

Looking back on it all
I thought it was
you made it seem real

You made all my dreams come true
because of you
I now know what love is

I was feeling lonely
you helped me up
looked in my eyes
and told me it would be all right

You were able to make me smile
I forgot all my worries
when I was with you

You helped me see
what I never thought
I would be able to see

You make me who I am
thank you for all you did
for me

I loved you then
I love you now
I am going to love you until you're mine again

whenever I needed someone
you were always there
you held my hand

you were always a step behind me
to catch me before I fall
but now I have fallen and
you weren't there

whenever I was sad
you tried your hardest to make me smile
now you are the one
who makes me sad

I can't smile
because I don't have you

I want to cry
I don't know why
I try to dry my tears
and reach towards the sky

I'll be fine
in no time
loving you was all I ever know

you helped me through it all
you always helped me up after I fall
and always wanted me happy

I am lost without your touch
I miss you

afraid to close my eyes
afraid you will leave without saying bye
afraid of what will happen
afraid I will lose you

afraid I will cry at night
afraid to let you go
afraid I will never see you again

afraid all I ever had is gone
afraid you will forget about me
afraid you won't care anymore

if I told you that I loved you

your smile
melts my heart
makes me feel like I am on cloud number 9

the twinkle in your eyes
puts a smile on my face
and makes my heart beat faster

from the first time I saw you
